• This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Mystic Tomato" and "The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh".

• This card and its counterpart, "Winged Kuriboh", work well in a Sky Scourge deck.

• Keep in mind that if you discard Kuriboh when an opposing monster attacks multiple times, the battle damage for all of those attacks become 0.

• By Discarding Kuriboh with Astral Barrier, you have your monster and Life Points protected from an attack.

• If your opponent is using either Flame Wingman or Inferno Wing, you can combo this and Hanewata to negate both Battle Damage and Effect Damage.

• You can create an OTK with this card, Multiply, Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce and United We Stand.
