Card Rulings:Core Reinforcement
TCG Rulings
- This card targets 1 "Koa'ki Meiru" monster in your Graveyard.[1]
- The effect of "Core Reinforcement" that deals damage to its controller starts a Chain.[1]
- If your face-up “Core Reinforcement” is destroyed during the End Phase by “Mystical Space Typhoon,” you will not take damage equal to the Summoned monster’s ATK. [1]
- If "Imperial Custom" is face-up on the field and the monster Summoned by "Core Reinforcement" is destroyed, "Core Reinforcement" will remain face-up on the field but the controller will still take damage.[1]
- If "Core Reinforcement" and the monster it has Summoned are destroyed at the same time, such as by "Icarus Attack", the effect to inflict damage will still be applied.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Core Reinforcement" targets one "Koa'ki Meiru" monster in your Graveyard.[2]
- The damage-inflicting effect of "Core Reinforcement" activates when the "Koa'ki Meiru" monster is sent to the Graveyard (or removed from play, etc). If "Core Reinforcement" is sent to the Graveyard, then its effect activates in the Graveyard, so "The End of Anubis" will negate it.[3]
- The damage-inflicting effect of "Core Reinforcement" starts a Chain.[4]
