OCG Rulings

• For "Genex Ally Triarm", once per turn, you can activate one effect - either the "WIND", the "WATER", or the "DARK" effect.

• Discarding one card is a cost to activate the effect of "Genex Ally Triarm".

• The "WATER" effect of "Genex Ally Triarm" targets one Spell or Trap Card that your opponent controls.

• The "DARK" effect of "Genex Ally Triarm" targets one LIGHT monster that is face-up on the field.

• If you Synchro Summon "Genex Ally Triarm", then you can activate one effect once per turn based on the Attribute(s) of the Synchro Material Monster(s) while they are on the field.
  • If "DNA Transplant" is active and treating a DARK monster as a WIND monster, then if that monster is used as a Synchro Material Monster for "Genex Ally Triarm", then you can activate its "WIND:" effect, but you cannot activate its "DARK:" effect.
  • If a monster like "Elemental Mistress Doriado" which is treated as multiple Attributes is used as a Synchro Material Monster for "Genex Ally Triarm", then when activating the effect of "Genex Ally Triarm" you can choose to activate either the "WIND:" effect or the "DARK:" [sic] effect.

• For the "DARK:" effect of "Genex Ally Triarm", the effect which destroys the LIGHT monster and the effect which has you draw 1 card are considered to resolve simultaneously.
  • Example: If a LIGHT "Fabled Leviathan" is destroyed by the effect of "Genex Ally Triarm", then after the effect of "Genex Ally Triarm" resolves the effect of "Fabled Leviathan" may be activated, without missing the timing.

• You can only activate the effects of "Genex Ally Triarm" once per turn. Thus, if you Synchro Summon "Genex Ally Triarm" with one WIND monster, one WATER monster, and one DARK monster, then once per turn you can select either the "WIND: effect, the "WATER: effect, or the "DARK: effect and activate it.
