Card Rulings:Esper Girl
TCG Rulings
- Both effects are mandatory, start a Chain, and can activate during the Damage Step.[1]
- If Esper Girl is flipped face-down or removed from play [sic] temporarily and then later sent to the Graveyard, the effect to add the card it removed from play [sic] to your hand still activates.[1]
- If the same Esper Girl is removed from play [sic] and then Special Summoned multiple times in a single turn, you remove the top card of your Deck from play, face-down [sic], each time it is Special Summoned. When it is sent to the Graveyard, you only add the most recently removed [sic] card to your hand.[1]
- If Esper Girl removes the top card of your Deck from play [sic], and is then equipped to Relinquished and sent to the Graveyard, the effect to add the removed [sic] card to your hand activates.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect that banishes and the effect that adds the banished card to the hand are both Trigger Effects.[2]
- This card's effects activate even in the Damage Step.[2]
- Even if Tributed for a Tribute Summon or being used as a Synchro Material Monster, this card's effect activates.[2]
- If after banishing a card, "Esper Girl" is flipped face-down or banished temporarily, the effect that adds the banished card to the hand will activate when it is sent to the Graveyard.[3]
- The face-down card banished by the effect of "Esper Girl" can be verified by the owner of that card. However, the opponent cannot verify that card.[4]
