World Duel Carnival Preliminaries is the second arc of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime, encompassing the preliminary rounds of the World Duel Carnival tournament.

This arc only appears in the anime, but not in manga. It is a Duel Monsters tournament hosted by Mr. Heartland and made officiated by Dr. Faker for purpose of gathering all Number Holders in one place, as they need all hundred Numbers for their plans.
