- This card's 2nd effect is useful in order to prevent a deck-out.
- It can also be used to return a monster from your Graveyard to your Deck, which can be added to your hand with "Charge of the Light Brigade" later.
- Bear in mind that the 2nd effect of this card returns cards, not monsters. This can allow one to reuse cards such as "Lightsworn Barrier".
- Since this is level 7, same as "Lightray Diabolos", "Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack" just got so much more viable.
- "Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner" can special summon this card.
