The North American World Championship Qualifier 2013 Special: Kaiba Vs Pegasus was a scripted duel that took place at the North American World Championship Qualifiers in Chicago in 2013. In this duel, Eric Stuart and Darren Dunstan reprised their roles as Seto Kaiba and Maximillion Pegasus respectively. The duel showed Kaiba using cards from the Saga Of The Blue-Eyes White Dragon structure deck, while Pegasus used a Wind-Up deck, apparently owned by real life player Billy Brake.

Turn 10:Pegasus
During Pegasus' Standby Phase, Wind-Up Rabbit returns to the field. Pegasus then summons Wind-Up Warrior and activates it's effect to increase it's ATK by 600 and level by 1. Pegasus then activates the effects of both Wind-Up Rabbits to banish them and then the effect of Wind-Up Factory allows him to add another Wind-Up monster to his hand from his deck (Wind-Up Warrior). Pegasus activates Smashing Ground to destroy Hitotsu-Me Giant.

Turn 11:Kaiba
Normal Summons Slate Warrior, before activating Castle Of Dragon Souls effect to increase Slate Warrior's ATK to 2600 and banish Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Kaiba then activates Return From The Different Dimension, paying half of his life points and Special Summoning all 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons and La Jinn The Mystical Genie Of The Lamp in attack position (Kaiba 2300 → 1150). Kaiba chains his face down Ring of Destruction targeting Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, before chaining Ring Of Defense, to protect his life points from Ring Of Destruction. [NOTE: Kaiba here intends to inflict damage to Pegasus with Ring Of Destruction and protect his own life points with Ring Of Defense. In the TCG/OCG, if Ring Of Defense is activated in response to a card that would inflict damage to both players, both players take no damage.] Pegasus chains Book of Moon targeting Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, attempting to flip it face down, but Kaiba then chains Defusion which returns Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to his extra deck and allows Kaiba to summon all three of his Blue-Eyes White Dragon's from his graveyard. Pegasus activates the effects of his 3 Wind-Up Rabbits to banish them in response, leaving 8 cards that are sent to the graveyard (Pegasus 3300 → 900). Since Castle Of Dragon Souls was sent to the graveyard, Kaiba special summons Blue-Eyes White Dragon from his banished zone via it's effect. [NOTE: In the OCG, Castle of Dragon Souls would miss the timing. It's also worth noting that Pegasus references this fact.] Kaiba attacks directly with Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Pegasus: 900 → 0)
