Toon Monsters

Lists

Toon Monsters are a special breed of Monsters that debuted in Spell Ruler. They are Retrained monsters that are able to attack the opponent directly. In the manga and anime, they were the trademark Monsters of Maximillion Pegasus. There are three classes of "Toon Monsters".

Strategies

" Strenghts: "

"Toon Monsters" their main strategy is using them to attack your opponent directly. However these cards require you to have "Toon World" present on the field. Cards Such as Toon Table Of Contents can be used to get a "Toon World" to your hand. Since "Toon Monsters" can be special summoned when "Toon World" is present on the field you can special summon more than one Toon Monster in a turn. This can be abused for fast synchroing, "[[Rose Warrior of Revenge]" comes to mind to synchro summon for a fast Stardust Dragon. However tributes are required for level 5 and higher "Toon Monsters". Yet since most Toon Monsters are special summons you can tribute tokens such as "Scapegoat" or for dark types "Fires of Doomsday". "Toon Gemini Elf" and "Toon Masked Sorceror" can maintain a hand control, since when "Toon World" is on the field they can attack directly and thus damaging your opponents and this way their effects trigger. So you force your opponent to drop a random card by "Toon Gemini Elf" and you can draw a card by the effect of "Toon Masked Sorceror".

" Weaknesses: "

All Toon monsters except for "Toon Alligator and "Toon Dark Magician Girl" suffer from "Summon Sickness" meaning that most "Toon Monsters" can't attack on the turn that they were summoned. "Toon Monsters" are very reliant on "Toon World" and all of them are destroyed when "Toon World" is destroyed. "Stardust Dragon","Dark Bribe", "Solemn Judgement" etc. can negate effects destroying "Toon World". You could even try "Defender, the Magical Knight", or "Card Guard". It is also possible to chain a "Emergency Provisions" to your "Toon World" and in this way "evade" the destruction of your "Toon Monsters" but toon world does get send to the graveyard so your "Toon Monsters" Can't attack your opponent directly without a new "Toon World". "Forbidden Chalice" can also be used to negate the effect of a Toon Monster so it doesn't gets destroyed along with "Toon World". But it can also be used to counter the Summon Sickness. Only Class C Toons can be summoned to the field without having a "Toon World" present on the field. Cards like "Vengeful Bog Spirit" can be played to let your opponent have the same disadvantage while it doesn't really make a difference for you. Class A and Class B Toons have maintance costs in order to have them attack your opponent's Lifepoints directly you have to pay 500 Lifepoints.
