In episode 32, Joey Wheeler uses this card during his Duel Bandit Keith. When "Slot Machine" (who had 3000 ATK due to being affected by 3 "7 Completed" and "Shield & Sword") attacks and destroys "Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon" (who had 2400 ATK due to being affected by "Dragon Nails" and "Shield & Sword"), Joey activates this card to steal Keith's "Time Machine" and activate it as his card, negating the Battle Damage he would take and Special Summoning "Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon" as it was during the previous turn.

In episode 33, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yugi Muto. He uses this card to steal Yugi's "Summoned Skull" and summon it to his side of the field. Joey then activates "Copycat" to activate Yugi's "Polymerization" from the Graveyard as his card, allowing Joey to fuse "Summoned Skull" with "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" and Fusion Summon "B. Skull Dragon".

In episode 64, Joey uses this card during his duel against Weevil Underwood. When Weevil attacks "Gearfried the Iron Knight" with "Insect Queen", Joey activates this card to steal Weevil's "Insecticide" from the Graveyard and activate its effect to destroy "Insect Queen", which saves Joey from losing.

In episode 78, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Joey has when he starts to remember that he is a Duelist (as Marik brainwashed him into Dueling Yugi and defeating him).

In episode 86, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Odion. In the next episode, Odion uses one "Embodiment of Apophis" to attack "Swordsman of Landstar", but Joey activates "Foolish Burial" to send "Jinzo" to Odion's Graveyard. Joey then activates this card to Special Summon "Jinzo" to his side of the field. Due to the effect of "Jinzo", all three Embodiments of Apophis" are destroyed as they are still treated as Trap Cards.
- In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a series of flashbacks that Joey has when he notes to Odion that he has met many people on his way to the Battle City Finals and he kept fighting all the way no matter how grim the situation was.

In episode 106, this card can be seen when Duke Devlin, Tristan Taylor, and Serenity Wheeler were building their Decks for their Duel against Nezbitt.

In episode 108, two copies of this card appear in a flashback explained by Leichter when he reminds Seto that his birthday gift from Gozaburo Kaiba was where all the mistakes made by Seto himself began.

In episode 109, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto that his treachery began when Gozaburo gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.

In episode 122, Joey sets this card during the four-way Battle Royal between himself, Yami Marik, Yami Yugi, and Seto Kaiba. In the next episode, this card is still face-down on the field. In the following episode, "Axe Raider" attacks "Blade Knight", but Kaiba activates "Ring of Destruction" to destroy "Axe Raider" and inflict its ATK as damage to both Joey and Kaiba. Kaiba then activates "Ring of Defense" to protect himself from "Ring of Destruction's" effect, but Joey activates this card to steal Yami Marik's "Spell of Pain" and activate its effect, redirecting the damage that Joey would have taken from "Ring of Destruction's" effect to Yami Marik instead. This causes Yami Marik to be defeated.
- In the third above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback that Joey has when he remembers all the Duelists he faced on his way to the Battle City Finals.

In episode 135, this card can be seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Kaiba. In the next episode, Joey activates this card to steal "Enemy Controller" from Kaiba's Graveyard. and activate its effect, allowing Joey to destroy Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". Joey then activates "Monster Reborn" to revive "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" under his control.

This card can be seen during episode 159 when Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor are taken to vault within Doma's headquarters that contains copies of every card in existence at the time save the Legendary Dragons and the Egyptian Gods.

Joey uses this card in his duel with Valon to take Big Bang Blow from the latter's Graveyard and summon it to his side of the field. He later fused "Big Bang Blow" together with The Claw of Hermos to form Big Bang Dragon Blow.

In episode 10, during Yusei Fudo's Ground Duel against Mr. Armstrong, the former sends this card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard due to the effect of Mr. Armstrong's "Poison Chain".
