Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - If you activate "Self-Destruct Button", and an effect is chained so that the difference in Life Points is less than 7000, "Self-Destruct Button" still resolves because its conditions were correct at the time of activation.
Mentions in Other Rulings
- Amplifier: If you have "Jinzo with Amplifier" [sic], your Trap Cards are not negated and their effects are applied, including ... "Self-Destruct Button"...
Judge List Rulings
- If "Self-Destruct Button" resolves in the middle of a Chain the Duel ends in a Draw, and the remaining Chain Links of the Chain do not resolve.[1]
