Broken

The term "Overbroken" is used to refer to any card that is considered to be overbroken, giving the user of the card a significant advantage.

The term is purely subjective. Many cards that are considered "Ovebroken" are Forbidden, Limited or Semi-Limited in the Advanced Format, and some existing cards may have to wait before they can be considered overbroken; usually, this takes place during the release of newer cards, opening new strategies and Deck types to players. Also, some cards hat are considered to be "overbroken" may only be so due to some kind of card combo that utilizes the card's effects to their maximum potential; sometimes, when used outside of that combo, said card may not fare as well as it would if it was in the combo. An example of this is Chimeratech Overdragon, who was considered to be overbroken due only to the Chimeratech OTK strategy.
