OCG Rulings

• This card targets 1 face-up monster in your Monster Zone.

• "reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck" and "if that target is used as a Fusion Material this turn, it can be treated as a monster with the same name as the revealed monster's." are considered to happen simultaneously.

• After the effect of "Fusion Tag" is applied on a monster, that monster's name on the field is not treated as the revealed Fusion Monster's name.

• After the effect of "Fusion Tag" is applied on a monster, if that monster is used as a Fusion Material, it can be treated as a monster with the same name as the revealed Fusion Monster's name.

• If "Igknight Champion" is targeted by "Fusion Tag" by revealing "Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer", it can be treated as "Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer" when used as a Fusion Material. Since "Igknight Champion" is not a Pendulum Monster, it cannot be used as a Pendulum Monster or a "Dracoslayer" Pendulum Monster to Special Summon "Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer".
  • If "Igknight Gallant" is targeted by "Fusion Tag" by revealing "Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer", it can be treated as "Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer" when used as a Fusion Material. Since "Igknight Gallant" is a Pendulum Monster, it can be used as a Pendulum Monster or a "Dracoslayer" Pendulum Monster to Special Summon "Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer".

• "A-to-Z-Dragon Buster Cannon" is Special Summoned by banishing monsters on your field whose original names are "ABC-Dragon Buster" and "XYZ-Dragon Cannon". In this scenario, if the effect of "Fusion Tag" is applied, the original name of "X-Head Cannon" does not become "XYZ-Dragon Cannon". Therefore, "ABC-Dragon Buster" and the "X-Head Cannon" affected by "Fusion Tag" cannot be used to Special Summon "A-to-Z-Dragon Buster Cannon".

• To Special Summon "VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon", you must banish "VW-Tiger Catapult" and "XYZ-Dragon Cannon" from your side of the field. If "V-Tiger Jet" is targeted by 2 copies of "Fusion Tag" by revealing "VW-Tiger Catapult" and "XYZ-Dragon Cannon", it can be treated as "VW-Tiger Catapult" or "XYZ-Dragon Cannon" when used as a Fusion Material, but you must control the other monster to Special Summon "VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon". (You cannot Special Summon "VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon" using only 1 monster.)

• With "The Eye of Timaeus", unlike with a regular Fusion Summon, you do not use multiple Fusion Materials, and only the targeted "Dark Magician" monster is used as the Fusion Material for the Fusion Summon. Therefore, when resolving the effect of "The Eye of Timaeus", the effect of "Fusion Tag" cannot be applied. (The effect of "Fusion Tag" does not change the name of the affected monster.)

• If "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" is targeted by "Fusion Tag" by revealing "Neo-Spacian Marine Dolphin", it can be treated as "Neo-Spacian Marine Dolphin" or "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin" when used as a Fusion Material. (You can still use it as "Elemental HERO Bubbleman".)
  • You can shuffle "Elemental HERO Neos" and "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" treated as "Neo-Spacian Marine Dolphin" into the Deck to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Marine Neos".
  • You can shuffle "Elemental HERO Neos" and "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" treated as "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin" into the Deck to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Aqua Neos".

• After the effect of "Fusion Tag" is applied on a monster, even if the Fusion Monster revealed to activate "Fusion Tag" is no longer in the Extra Deck, the effect of "Fusion Tag" remains applied as long as that monster remains in the Monster Zone.

• If "Soprano the Melodious Songstress" is targeted by 2 copies of "Fusion Tag" by revealing "Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir" and "Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli", it can be treated as "Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir" or "Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli" when used as a Fusion Material. (You can still use it as "Soprano the Melodious Songstress".)

• "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" can be targeted with "Fusion Tag". However, "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" can never be used as a Fusion Material, so it cannot be used as one even by applying the effect of "Fusion Tag".

• After the effect of "Fusion Tag" is applied on a monster, if that monster becomes unaffected by the effects of Spell Cards, the effect of "Fusion Tag" remains applied.

• After the effect of "Fusion Tag" is applied on a monster, if that monster is changed to face-down Defense Position, the effect of "Fusion Tag" is no longer applied.
  • After the effect of "Fusion Tag" is applied on an "Elemental HERO Sparkman" by revealing "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman", if "Elemental HERO Sparkman" is changed to face-down Defense Position, "Elemental HERO Sparkman" can no longer be treated as "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" when used as a Fusion Material.

• When resolving "Fusion Tag", if the targeted monster is unaffected by the effects of Spell Cards, the effect is not applied. (You do not reveal any Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck.)

• When resolving "Fusion Tag", if the targeted monster is in face-down Defense Position, the effect is not applied. (You do not reveal any Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck.)
