- In the original Manga, this card was a Level 5 monster.
- In Toei's Yu-Gi-Oh! movie, Shougo Aoyama was shown to have this card.
- In episode 2, Yami Yugi uses this card during his duel against Maximillion Pegasus. He summons it in Attack Position. Pegasus then attacks and destroys this card with Yugi's "Koumori Dragon" (who Pegasus took control of via the effect of "Dragon Piper").
- In episode 7, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Mako Tsunami. After Yugi summons this card, he activates "Full Moon" to increase this card's ATK and DEF by an unknown amount. "Kairyu-Shin" (who had gained a Field Power Bonus) then attacks and destroys this card. The attack also caused the ocean field to reduce the land area to 5%.
- In episode 23, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. He summons this card in Defense Position. Kaiba's "Battle Ox" then attacks and destroys this card.
- In episode 33, this card appears when Yami Yugi explains to Joey that Duel Monsters is about the balance between Monsters and Spell and Trap Cards.
- In episode 50, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Bandit Keith while the latter was possessed by Marik Ishtar. He Special Summons this card in face-down Defense Position via the Flip Effect of Keith's "Cyber Jar". Later "Machine King" attacks and destroys this card.
- In episode 85, this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.
- Ironheart's pet dog Sky was actually this monster. This was shown when Sky transformed in order to help Chris get to Yami Yugi in order to give him "The Eye of Timaeus". However after Ironheart was struck down by lightning bolt and disappeared, Sky is struck down and disappears(in the dub, Sky is captured after being struck down).
- In episode 220, this card is shown when Yugi is shown building his Deck for the Ceremonial Battle.
Naming
In the Spanish Anime, this card was known as "Colmillo de Plata".
In the French dub, this card was known as "Crochet d'Argent", meaning "Silver Hook".
