- This card first made its anime cameo in Episode Two. Pegasus played this card during his first duel against Yugi. He would first set in Defense Position before flipping it face-up on his next turn. After this happened Pegasus released Yugi's "Koumori Dragon" from the former's "Dragon Capture Jar".
- It then later appeared in Kaiba's duel with Pegasus. After summoning it, Kaiba figured Pegasus was trying to put his captured Blue-Eyes under his control and make it a Toon like he did to his previous Blue-Eyes. Kaiba was not going to let Pegasus do the same thing again and decided to destroy "Dragon Piper". On Kaiba's turn, he Flip Summoned "Swordstalker" and declared his attack on "Dragon Piper", but Pegasus then revealed his face-down card "Doppelganger" which can copy any card Kaiba used or has on the field. Pegasus then decided to copy "Crush Card Virus" and infect it into Dragon Piper. Kaiba still attacked and destroyed it as it was too late to stop the attack, but this then activated "Crush Card Virus"'s effect which destroyed "Swordstalker" and all monsters in Kaiba's deck that had more than 1500 ATK leaving him with only one card left to use.
- Both the Japanese and English Anime show the Attribute of this card as FIRE. However, this was a DARK-Attribute monster in the manga, since Pegasus could Tribute it for "Crush Card Virus" in Chapter 61.
- When it was summoned, it's effect freed all Dragons in the "Dragon Capture Jar", but put them under the control of the player who summoned "Dragon Piper".
