- Pegasus first played this card during his first duel against Yugi. He would first set it in Defense Position. On Pegasus' next turn, he flipped it face-up. After this happened, this card's effect activated, allowing Pegasus to release Yugi's "Koumori Dragon" from "Dragon Capture Jar" and place it under Pegasus' control as well as destroy "Dragon Capture Jar".
- This card later appeared in Seto Kaiba's duel with Pegasus. After summoning it, Kaiba figured Pegasus was trying to put his captured "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" under his control and make it a Toon like he did to his previous "Blue-Eyes". Kaiba was not going to let Pegasus do the same thing again and decided to destroy "Dragon Piper". On Kaiba's turn, he Flip Summoned "Swordstalker" and ordered it to attack "Dragon Piper", but Pegasus then revealed his face-down card "Doppelganger" which can copy any card Kaiba used or has on the field. Pegasus then decided to copy "Crush Card Virus" and infect it into "Dragon Piper". Kaiba still attacked and destroyed it as it was too late to stop the attack, but this then activated "Crush Card Virus"'s effect which destroyed "Swordstalker" and all monsters in Kaiba's deck that had more than 1500 ATK leaving him with only one card left to use.
- Both the Japanese and English anime show the Attribute of this card as FIRE. However, this was a DARK-Attribute monster in the manga, since Pegasus could Tribute it for "Crush Card Virus" in Chapter 61.
- When it was summoned, its effect freed all Dragons in the "Dragon Capture Jar", but put them under the control of the player who summoned "Dragon Piper".
