- This card can be very effective against "Lightsworn", "Bujin", "Hieratic", "Constellar", "The Agent", "Kozmo", "Galaxy"/"Photon", "Noble Knight", "Jack Knight " and "Fabled" Decks.
- This card can be combined with "DNA Transplant" so its effect can always be used effectively.
- In a general Deck that can perform Synchro Summons, Side Deck this card until you learn of the pattern of your opponent's Deck and make sure if it can be used or not.
- One of the easiest ways to Synchro Summon this card is to Special Summon "Cyber Dragon" (or any Level 5 Fusion Monster via "Instant Fusion"), then Normal Summon "Junk Synchron" and use its effect to Special Summon a Level 2 monster in the Graveyard.
- In aZombie Deck: Special Summon 1 Level 4 Zombie monster from your Graveyard he effect of "Zombie Master", by discarding "Plaguespreader Zombie". Then, Special Summon "Plaguespreader Zombie" from your Graveyard (via its own effect, or others like "Mezuki" or "Book of Life"). Finally, use the 3 Zombies to Synchro Summon this card.
- Synchro Summon a Level 5 Synchro Monster using "Plaguespreader Zombie" and "Beast of the Pharaoh" as the materials. Then, use the effect of "Beast of the Pharaoh" to bring itself back and Special Summon "Plaguespreader Zombie" with its own effect. You will now have the materials to Synchro Summon this card.
- Another easy way to Smmon this card is to Special Summon "The Tricky" using its effect by discarding "Quillbolt Hedgehog". After that, Normal Summon a Level 3 Tuner monster Special Summon "Quillbolt Hedgehog" by its own effect; then, Synchro Summon this card.
- In a "Six Samurai" Deck, with your opponent controlling a LIGHT monster: Special Summon "Elder of the Six Samurai" then Normal Summon "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai" and then Special Summon "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai".
