Card Tips:Elemental HERO Stratos
- This card can be searched by "E - Emergency Call", "A Hero Lives", "Elemental HERO Shadow Mist", "Masked HERO Dian", "Hero Signal", "Kid Guard", "Reinforcement of the Army", "Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights", "Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior", "Iron Knight", "Freed the Matchless General", "Field-Commander Rahz", "Divine Wind of Mist Valley", "Kujakujaku", "Summoner Monk", "Vampire Dragon", "Resonator Engine", "Soul Rope", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- "Elemental HERO Stratos" works well with "Skyscraper 2 - Hero City" (if it is destroyed by battle), and with "Elemental HERO Ocean" to get it back to your hand in order to Normal Summon during your Main Phase 1, either to get an additional "HERO" monster into your hand, or to destroy Spell and/or Trap Cards. This can create major advantage.
- If you have "Destiny Draw", you can search out a "Destiny HERO" monster of your choice to draw two cards. Useful cards for this are "Destiny HERO - Malicious", "Destiny HERO - Dasher" and "Destiny HERO - Departed".
- If your opponent has a strong monster on the field, Normal Summon "Elemental HERO Stratos", search out "Elemental HERO Captain Gold", and then use the efect of "Gold" to search for "Skyscraper".
- This card works extremely well with "HERO's Bond".
- If your opponent has a stronger monster, then Special Summon "Elemental HERO Stratos" to search for "Elemental HERO Honesty Neos" and proceed to destroy them.
- This card works well with "Double Summon". Normal Summon "Stratos", use its effect to search out a HERO, then play "Double Summon" and Normal Summon the second monster.
- You can summon this card and search for any Elemental HERO and then fuse the two to summon "Elemental HERO Great Tornado" or even one of the other Omni HEROs.
- This card can be returned to the hand by "Mist Valley Falcon" and/or "Compulsory Evacuation Device". Then, it can be summoned again to re-use it's effect.
- This card can also be summoned by "Fake Hero" to use it's effect after it returns to the hand.
Traditional Format
- After banishing several "HERO" monsters, including this card, with a card such as "Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade", use "Dimension Fusion" or "Return from the Different Dimension" to Special Summon them all. When you do so, activate this card's first effect, destroying several of your opponent's Spells/Traps.
