- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Chaos-End Master" and "Shining Angel".
- Use "Soul Release", "Banisher of the Light", "Banisher of the Radiance", "Dimensional Fissure" or "Macro Cosmos" to have large amounts of your cards removed from play.
- You can use "Skull Lair" to remove multiple monster cards in your graveyard from play to increase "Golden Homunculus's" ATK while destroying a few face up monsters in the process.
- Use "Big Burn" when your opponent attempts to reborn a card. Then, use "Golden Homunculus" and "D.D. Dynamite" to finish them off.
- If you tribute summon this card by tributing "Necroface" while cards like "Dimensional Fissure" or "Macro Cosmos", he would get a major power boost, putting him at 3000 ATK and 3000 DEF.
- This card works exceptionally well in a Dark Counterpart deck containing cards such as Veil of Darkness, Rainbow Dark Dragon, and Doomsday Horror. In fact, this card has a more broad-spectrum effect, and has the potential to be more powerful than Rainbow Dark Dragon.
