- This card can be searched by "Keeper of Dragon Magic", "Synchro Fusionist", "Kahyoreigetsu", "Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone", "Evil Mind", "Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon", "Predaplant Chimerafflesia", "Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra", "Supreme King Gate Zero", "Cyberdark Inferno", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic", and other generic searchers.
- "Fusion Substitute" can be discarded as cost, since it is always treated as "Polymerization". Afterwards, it can be banished in order to return the sent Fusion Monster to the Extra Deck and provide a draw.
- This card can be used to send "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman", so that "Miracle Fusion" can be used to banish it and Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman".
