- This card's name may be a reference to John Wayne, who was well-known for playing Western heroes like the Warrior pictured.
- This card's Effect is similar to "Marauding Captain's" second Effect.
- Though relatively unnoticeable, if looked at carefully Wayne's gun has been edited to make it look less real, where the gun hammer is located it is replaced by a marble/sphere-like component. The edge of the blade had its opacity altered so that it would look like an energy blade instead of one made out of metal. The handle and shotgun pump have also been recolored blue to make it less life like.
- The gun of this card looks similar to "Blackwing Armed Wing's" gun.
