- This card can be searched via "Witch of the Black Forest".
- Use in a Gladiator Beast deck with DNA Surgery for empowerment.
- This card combos extremely well with "Ojama Trio" and "Gyaku-Gire Panda." Using Ojama Trio greatly boosts Gyaku-Gire Panda's ATK, and when the Ojamas are destroyed, Maji-Gire becomes stronger. Attack one Ojama Token with Gyaku-Gire Panda to give Maji-Gire Panda a boost, then have Maji-Gire destroy another Ojama Token, and it will finish the turn with at least 2000 ATK.
- This card benefits greatly from the use of DNA Surgery overall if you set it to Beast-Type. Every time an opponent's monster is destroyed, this card will become stronger and stronger, even if it did not destroy the opponent's monster itself.
- Combine this card with DNA Surgery, Ultimate Offering, King Tiger Wanghu and Black Ptera. (Ensure that you summon King Tiger Wanghu after Maji-Gire Panda.) Keep on summoning Black Ptera with Ultimate Offering until this card obtains a potent ATK.
