• The Solidroid monsters seem to be based off of the Getta Robo robots from the anime and manga Getta Robo, as Getta Robo is a robot comprised of 3 vehicles that combine in different ways to form different robots with different abilities.
  • Ironically, all three monsters to fuse into the Solidroid monsters are jets, which is a direct tribute to Getta Robo which (mostly) was a combination of three jets.
