• The Solidroid monsters seem to be based off of the Getta Robo robots from the anime and manga Getta Robo, as Getta Robo is a robot comprised of 3 vehicles that combine in different ways to form different robots with different abilities.
  • Coincidentally, all three monsters to fuse into the Solidroid monsters are Jets, which is a direct tribute to Getta Robo which (mostly) was a combination of three jets.

• They also bear a resemblance to Alpha, Beta, and Gamma, the three Magna warriors.

• This card's appearance bares a resemblance to Dark Strike Fighter, as well as sharing the same ATK and DEF.

• In the english publication of theYu-Gi-Oh! GX manga, Turboroid, in the card's text, is misspelled as Truckroid.
