- This card's approximated Arabic name (وزير اللهيب - ثستالوس) translates to "Vizier of Flames - Thestalos" The reason why "Vizier" was used is to distinguish the Monarchs from other cards with "King" and "Emperor" in their names, such as Fog King and Emperor of Lightning ("King" and "Monarch" are the same word in Arabic.)
- Vizier (وزير) is a word of Persian origin that could translate as "Minister". It describes a high-ranking official with full responsibility of something. In this case, Thestalos is responsible for Flames.
