- In episode 21, Yusei Fudo used this card in his Turbo Duel against Greiger. Yusei then tunes this card with "Junk Synchron" to Synchro Summon "Armory Arm". Since this card was sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, its effect allows Yusei to draw one card which was then revealed to be "Speed Spell - Synchro Return". He then used that to Special Summon "Junk Warrior". He then equipped "Junk Warrior" with "Armory Arm" as part of his winning move.
- In episode 45, Yusei used this card in his Ground Duel against Roman Goodwin. He Speical Summons this card via "One for One". Yusei then uses the effect of "Quillbolt Hedgehog" to revive itself from the Graveyard. Yusei then tunes this card (while treating it as a Level 2 monster via its own effect) and "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with "Road Synchron" to Synchro Summon" "Road Warrior". Since this card was sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, its effect allows Yusei to draw one card.
- In episode 67, this card is shown flying out of Yusei's Deck while he and his friends were testing out a Duel Runner and it malfunctioned.
- In episode 121, Yusei used this card in his Turbo Duel against Taro Yamashita. He sends this card from his hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon "Big One Warrior". After Yusei summons "Debris Dragon", he uses the effect of "Debris Dragon" to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. Yusei then Special Summons "Quillbolt Hedgehog" via its own effect. Yusei then tunes "Big One Warrior", "Quillbolt Hedgehog", and this card with "Debris Dragon" to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon". Since this card was sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, its effect activates, allowing Yusei to draw one card. In the next episode, Yusei revives this card via "Graceful Revival". He then activates "Urgent Tuning" to allow himself to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster during the Battle Phase this turn. Yusei then tunes this card with "Turbo Synchron" to Synchro Summon "Formula Synchron". Since this card was sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, its effect activates, allowing Yusei to draw one card.
Scripted Duels
- In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Yusei vs. Akiza, Yusei summons this card by the effect of "One for One" after discarding "Quillbolt Hedgehog". "Tuningware" is then used as Synchro Material with "Junk Synchron" for "Junk Warrior", and Yusei draws a card by "Tuningware's" effect. On the final turn, Yusei activates "Give and Take" to Special Summon this card to Akiza's side of the field in Defense Mode, subtracting his "Stardust Dragon's" Level by "Tuningware's" Level. "Tuningware" is then destroyed by battle by "Shooting Quasar Dragon".
