• In episode 40, Akiza Izinski used this card in her Ground Duel against Yusei Fudo. She equips this card onto her "Black Rose Dragon", increasing its ATK by 600 and granting it the ability to inflict Piercing Damage. In the next episode, Akiza banishes an "Evil Thorn" in her Graveyard to activate her Dragon's effect, switching "Shield Warrior" into Attack Mode and reducing its ATK to 0 until the End Phase. "Black Rose Dragon" attacks "Shield Warrior", but Yusei activates "Realize Defense" to switch his monster back into Defense Position. Due to this card's effect, "Shield Warrior" is not destroyed, but due to another effect from this card, "Black Rose Dragon" inflicts Piercing Damage to Yusei. After Damage Calculation, this card reduces the ATK and DEF of "Shield Warrior" by 600. On Akiza's next turn, "Black Rose Dragon" attacks Yusei's "Stardust Dragon". Due to this card's effect, "Stardust Dragon" is not destroyed, but it loses 600 ATK and DEF after Damage Calculation. On Akiza's next turn, "Black Rose Dragon" attacks "Stardust Dragon". Due to this card's effect, "Stardust Dragon" is not destroyed, but it loses 600 ATK and DEF after Damage Calculation. On Akiza's next turn, "Black Rose Dragon" attacks "Stardust Dragon", but Yusei activates "Defense Draw" to reduce the Battle Damage to 0 and draw one card. Due to this card's effect, "Stardust Dragon is not destroyed, but it loses 600 ATK and DEF after Damage Calculation. Akiza activates "Wonder Clover" to allow her Dragon to attack again. "Black Rose Dragon" attacks "Stardust Dragon" again, but Yusei activates "Iron Resolve" to pay half his Life Points and reduce the Damage to 0. Due to this card's effect, "Stardust Dragon" is not destroyed, but it loses 600 ATK and DEF after Damage Calculation. Yusei later activates "Release Restraint Wave" to destroy all Spell and Trap Cards Akiza controls. With this card no longer on the field, "Black Rose Dragon's" ATK goes back to 2400. At the same time, "Stardust Dragon" regains all the ATK and DEF it lost due to this card's effect.

Scripted Duels

• In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Yusei vs. Akiza, Akiza equips this card onto her "Black Rose Dragon" on her last turn. The same turn, this card prevents "Black Rose Dragon" from destroying Yusei's "Junk Destroyer" by battle and lowers "Junk Destroyer's" ATK/DEF by 600. The next turn, this card is destroyed while allowing "Black Rose Dragon" to destroy Yusei's "Shooting Quasar Dragon" in a Double KO.
