• "Asura Priest" appears in this card's artwork.

• This card has a similar effect to "Magical Blast" since you can add this card to your hand when this card is in the Graveyard during the Draw Phase.

• The Hexagram under "Asura Priest" was not censored in the international version.

• "Spirit Burner's" name may be because when equipped to a Spirit monster, it deals Burn damage at the end of each turn. So it is the first and currently only card to fit perfectly in a "Spirit Burn Deck", making the name matching even better.

• "Spirit Burner" the only Equip Spell Card in all of Yu-Gi-Oh that allows it to be added to hand from graveyard instead drawing during draw phase.
