"Vampire" (ヴァンパイア Vanpaia) is an archetype of Zombie-Type monsters except "Vampire Killer". Initially, they were only supported by the manga-only card "Blood Curse" and the manga effect of "Overpowering Eye", but Shadow Specters revealed new "Vampire" support.

Camula in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and Tilla Mook in Yu-Gi-Oh! R use "Vampire"-themed Decks.

In Shadow Specters, the archetype is supported by the Field Spell Card "Vampire Empire", which lets the controller target and destroy 1 card on the field whenever your opponent has card(s) sent from their deck to the grave via the effect of "Vampire Lord", "Vampire Lady" or "Vampire Grace". "Vampire Grace" also Special Summons itself from the Graveyard when a Level 5 or higher Zombie-Type monster(s) is Special Summoned to your side of the field by the effect of a Zombie-Type monster. "Vampire Sorcerer" lets you add 1 DARK "Vampire" monster or 1 "Vampire" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand and you can Normal Summon 1 DARK "Vampire" monster without Tributing by banishing this card from your Graveyard. "Shadow Vampire" Special Summons 1 DARK "Vampire" monster from your hand or Deck (e.g. "Vampire Lord") to easily summon their new archetype-specific Xyz Monster "Vampire Bram the Edelritter", who can Special Summon 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard to your side of the field once per turn by detaching 1 Xyz Material.

The original name of "Vampire Orchis" and "Vampire Koala" are 「-ブラッド・オーキス-」 (Blood Orchis) and 「きゅうけつコアラ」 (Bloodsucking Koala) respectively, so they are both excluded from cards that support "Vampire" monsters.
