Yu-Gi-Oh!
Duelist Kingdom
- In episode 41, Rebecca Hawkins uses this card during her Duel against Yugi Muto. She Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Yugi then attacks this card with "Summoned Skull", but the effect of "Ring of Magnetism" reidrects the attack to "Millennium Shield", which causes the attack to fail. Rebecca then activates this card's effect to Tribute "Witch of the Black Forest" and inflict 500 effect damage to Yugi. In the next episode, Yugi activates "Brain Control" to take control of "Millennium Shield". He then activates "Catapult Turtle"'s effect to Tribute "Millennium Shield". "Summoned Skull" then attacks and destroys this card. This card's presence in the Graveyard later increases the ATK of Rebecca's "Shadow Ghoul". Rebecca later Normal Summons a second copy in Defense Position. The second copy is destroyed by battle by Yugi's "Dark Magician" and its presence in the Graveyard also increases "Shadow Ghoul's" ATK.
- In the latter above-mentioned episode, this card appears in Arthur Hawkins's explanation on what "Soul Release" does and what Yugi was going to do with it before he forfeited.
Virtual World
- In episode 106, Nezbitt uses this card during his duel against, Tristan Taylor, Duke Devlin, and Serenity Wheeler. He activates the Deck Master Ability of "Robotic Knight" to send this card, "Gradius' Option", and an unknown monster from his hand to the Graveyard to inflict 500 damage to each of his opponents.
- In episode 109, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto Kaiba that his treachery began when Gozaburo Kaiba gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.
Scripted Duels
- In the non-canon duel YCS Providence 2012 Special: Mai, Joey and Yugi vs. Pegasus and Bakura, Pegasus uses this card against Joey Wheeler. After Pegasus Normal Summons this card, it is instantly turned into "Toon Cannon Soldier" by the effect of "Toon World".
