- In the Virtual World Yugi fused his Black Luster Soldier with Kaiba's Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to create Dragon Master Knight, which destroyed the Five-Headed Dragon used against them.
- In the Waking the Dragons story arc, Dragon Master Knight was used again against Dartz along with the trap card Meteorain in an attempt to wipe him out early. However the damage was absorbed by Orichalcos Kyutora.
