- In the Virtual World Yugi fused his Black Luster Soldier with Kaiba's Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to create Dragon Master Knight, which destroyed the Five-Headed Dragon used against them.
- Dragon Master Knight was referred to as Master of Dragon Soldier. It gained 500 ATK points for every Dragon-Type monster on the field (including itself) and in the Graveyard.
- In the Waking the Dragons story arc, Dragon Master Knight was used again against Dartz along with the trap card Meteorain in an attempt to wipe him out early. However the damage was absorbed by Orichalcos Kyutora.
- In the Dawn of the Duel arc, Atem fused himself together with his Black Luster Soldier, who in turn fused with Seto's Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to create Dragon Master Knight. He then fought Zorc. While Zorc managed to defeat the creature, it took a great effort as well as being injured in the process.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 045 this card had only 4000 DEF points.
