Anime
Duelist Kingdom
- In episode 4, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Weevil Underwood. When Weevil's "Basic Insect" (which had been strengthened by the Field Power Bonus, "Laser Cannon Armor" and "Level 2 Power Boost") attacks "Dark Magician", Yami Yugi activates this card to destroy all of Weevil's Attack Position monsters.
- In episode 10, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Ghost Kaiba. When Ghost Kaiba attacks Yugi's "Mystical Elf" with his third "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", Yugi activates this card to deflect the attack and destroy all Attack Position monsters Ghost Kaiba controls, but the imposter activates "Negate Attack" to stop the redirected attack and save his "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- In episode 21, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Tag Duel with Joey Wheeler against the Paradox Brothers. When "Gate Guardian" attacks "Flame Swordsman", Yami Yugi activates this card to deflect the attack back at "Gate Guardian", but the brothers uses Gate Guardian's second section's effect to protect it from the attack. This doesn't stop the attack from destroying the brothers' "Monster Tamer".
- In episode 29, Yami Yugi sets this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine, but he didn't activate it. He was going to activate this card when "Harpie's Pet Dragon" attacks "Dark Magician". Mai then activates "Shadow of Eyes" to switch "Dark Magician" to Attack Position and force it to attack "Harpie Lady". The effect of "Mirror Wall" then negates the attack and halves the ATK of "Dark Magician". Mai then activates "Harpie's Feather Duster" to destroy this card. "Harpie's Pet Dragon" then attacks and destroys "Dark Magician".
- In episode 33, this card appears when Yami Yugi explains to Joey that Duel Monsters is about the balance between Monsters and Spell and Trap Cards.
- In episode 37, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Maximillion Pegasus. When "Toon Summoned Skull" attacks "Dark Magician", Yugi activates "Living Arrow to activate the effect of Pegasus's "Magical Neutralizing Force" as the effect of "Living Arrow" and destroy "Toon World" (and "Gorgon's Eye", though this occurred off-screen). Yugi then activates this card to deflect "Toon Summoned Skull's" attack back at Pegasus's monsters, destroying them and inflicting damage to Pegasus equal to the ATK difference between "Toon Summoned Skull" and the destroyed monsters.
Legendary Heroes
- In episode 45, Yami Yugi uses this card to protect himself, Joey Wheeler and Mai from the swarm of Insect monsters that were attacking the trio. Although the insects collided into the barrier this card created and were destroyed, the storm of explosions that were caused by the insects' destruction created a fire that disturbed the "Cocoons of Evolution", causing them to hatch into three "Great Moths".
Battle City
- In episode 51, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Bandit Keith while the latter was being possessed by Marik Ishtar. When "Zera the Mant" attacks "Dark Magician", Yugi activates this card to destroy all Attack Position monsters Keith controls, but Keith activates "Solemn Judgment" to negate this card's effect and destroy it. The attack continues, destroying "Dark Magician".
- In episode 53, this card appears on a poster that Yugi and Téa read when they find a game store that was selling Duel Monster cards.
- In episode 68, Rare Hunter 3 uses this card during his Tag Duel with Rare Hunter 2 against Yami Yugi and Seto Kaiba. When Kaiba activates the effect of "Obelisk the Tormentor" to Tribute "Lord of D." and "Hyozanryu" and inflict 4000 damage to both Rare Hunters, one of the Rare Hunters activates this card to destroy all Attack Position monsters Yami Yugi and Kaiba control. This doesn't work as the effect of Kaiba's "Obelisk the Tormentor" isn't an attack. The effect of "Obelisk the Tormentor" then continues, wiping out both Rare Hunters' Life Points and winning Yami Yugi and Kaiba the duel.
- In episode 85, this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.
Virtual World
- In episode 99, this card appears when Yami Yugi was building his Virtual World Deck before his Duel with Gansley.
- In episode 102, Téa Gardner sets this card during her Duel against Crump, but she doesn't activate it. On Crump's turn, he summons "Giant Red Seasnake" and activates "Cold Wave" to prevent both players from using any Spell or Trap Cards for one turn. "Giant Red Seasnake" then attacks and destroy "Ancient Elf". Later, Téa activates "Mystical Space Typhoon" to destroy Crump's set "Gust". Crump then activates "Driving Snow" to destroy this card.
- In episode 103, the Level 3 door uses this card while Yugi and Yami were going through a door puzzle. When "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight" attacks the Level 3 door monster, "Dark King of the Abyss", the door activates this card to destroy "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight".
- In episode 108, this card can be seen when Seto Kaiba was building his Deck for his Duel against Leichter.
- In episode 112, Yami Yugi sets this card during his Tag Duel with Joey Wheeler against the Big Five. After he sets this card, he made his expression very obvious in order to get the Big Five's attention on him instead of Joey. Later, Nezbitt activates "Heavy Storm" to destroy this card. "Machine King" then attacks "Des Volstgalph", but Yugi reveals that what he did was a trick as "Des Volstgalph" gained 200 ATK when Nezbitt activated "Heavy Storm". As a result of this, "Des Volstgalph" destroys "Machine King". "Des Volstgalph" then inflicts 500 damage to Nezbitt.
- This card also appears in a flashback Yugi has when he explains how his "Des Volstgalph" gained 200 ATK despite that he had no Spell or Trap Cards on his side of the field.
Battle City Finals
- In episode 123, Yami Marik uses this card during the four-way Battle Royal between himself, Yami Yugi, Joey Wheeler, and Seto Kaiba. When Yugi attacks Kaiba directly with "Archfiend of Gilfer", Kaiba activates "Attack Guidance Armor" to redirect the attack to "Lord Poison". Yami Marik then activates this card to destroy all Attack Position monsters Yugi controls, but Yugi activates "Seven Tools of the Bandit" to negate Yami Marik's this card and destroy it. The attack continues, destroying "Lord Poison".

The soldier then uses the effect of "Orichalcos Gigas" to bring it back even stronger than before (this made the ATK of "Orichalcos Gigas" 2900).
- In episode 165, Rebecca Hawkins uses this card during her Tag Duel with Duke Devlin against Valon. When "Big Bang Blow" attacks "Diamond Head Dragon" (whose ATK was 4200 due to the effect of "Adamantine Sword Revival", Rebecca activates this card to destroy all Attack Position monsters Valon controls, but Valon uses the effect of "Trap Buster" to negate this card's effect and destroy it. Valon then uses the effect of "Active Guard" to nullify the damage he would take. "Diamond Head Dragon" then destroys "Big Bang Blow", but this activates the effect of "Big Bang Blow", destroying all monsters on the field and inflicting damage to all players equal to the total ATK of each destroyed monster they controlled. As Valon used the effect of "Active Guard", only Rebecca and Duke take the damage and this wins Valon the Duel.
- In episode 178, Yami Yugi sets this card during his Tag Duel with Kaiba against Dartz. In the next episode, Yami Yugi could activate this card as he found out that Dartz's "Mirror Knight Tokens" have the souls of his friends in them (Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, Mai Valentine and Maximillion Pegasus) and can't bring himself to destroy the tokens as it might destroy his friends' souls too in the process. In the following episode, Kaiba activates "The Fang of Critias" to merge it with this card in order to Special Summon "Mirror Force Dragon". In the next episode, Dartz's "Orichalcos Shunoros" attacks "Legendary Knight Critias", but Yami Yugi uses the effect of "Legendary Knight Critias" to activate this card from the Graveyard and destroy all of Dartz's monsters as well as inflict the ATK difference between "Legendary Knight Critias" and Dartz's monsters as damage to Dartz. This card was then banished afterwards.

The attack continues, destroying "Big Shield Gardna".

Yugi then reveals that he purposely did that because it was the only way for his plan to destroy the Egyptian Gods to continue as planned.[2]

When Crow attempted to solve the Duel Puzzle, he equipped "Shooting Star Bow - Ceal" to "Green Gadget" to decrease the latter's ATK by 1000. "Tragoedia" (whose ATK was 3000 due to its effect) then attacks "Green Gadget", but the Robot activates this card to destroy "Tragoedia", resulting in Crow failing to solve the puzzle. When Jack attempted to solve the puzzle, he equipped "Axe of Despair" to "Tragoedia", increasing its ATK by 1000. "Tragoedia (whose ATK was 3000 due to its effect) then attacks "Green Gadget" as Jack assumed the face-down card in the Duel Puzzle was changed. Unfortunately this assumption was wrong as the robot then activated this card to once again destroy "Tragoedia", resulting in Jack failing to solve the puzzle. Bruno then took a turn to solve the puzzle. Thanks to his strategy, he was able to remove "Green Gadget" from the field with "Tribute to the Doomed" and take control of "Ancient Gear Soldier" (who had the ability to forbid the opponent from activating Spells and Traps when it attacks) with "Cost Down" and the effect of "Tragoedia". Bruno then equipped "Axe of Despair" onto "Ancient Gear Soldier", increasing its ATK by 1000. "Ancient Gear Soldier" then attacks "Stronghold the Moving Fortress" (who now had 0 ATK since "Green Gadget", "Red Gadget", and "Yellow Gadget" were not all present on the field). Due to the effect of "Ancient Gear Soldier", the Password Robot could not activate this card to stop the attack, allowing Bruno to successfully destroy "Stronghold the Moving Fortress", deplete the Robot's remaining Life Points, and solve the Duel Puzzle.
- In episode 85, Crow sets this card during his Ground Duel against Lyndon, but does not activate it. After Lyndon destroys "Blackwing Armor Master" with the effect of "Time Wizard"(as he succeeded in its effect), he uses "Monster Clock" and "Clock Knight 12" to attack Crow directly. During the duel between Shark and Quattro, the latter sets a card face-down. Shark theorized that the set card is probably this card as Quattro would probably use that in this sort of situation. Shark realizes that he can win the duel now, but before Shark can conduct the turn that would have probably won him the duel, the duel is canceled and Shark is disqualified from the Duel as the security cameras caught Shark peeking at Quattro's Deck before the Duel. This in turn caused Shark to be banned forever from the Duel Circuit. Quattro later revealed in episode 26 to Shark that he purposely left his Deck on the plant pot in order to get Shark disqualified.
