OCG Rulings
- This card's effect that sends a "Cubic" card from your hand to the GY and draws a card starts a Chain. (It does not target.)[1]
- Sending a "Cubic" card from your hand to the GY and drawing a card happen simultaneously.[1]
- This card's effect that prevents you from taking battle damage from battles involving your "Cubic" monsters does not start a Chain.[1]
- This card's effect that adds a "Cubic" monsters from your GY to your hand starts a Chain and activates in the GY. (It targets 1 "Cubic" monster in your GY. Banishing this card from your GY is the cost to activate this effect, also you can only activate this effect during your Main Phase.)[1]
Q&A Rulings
- Q: "Macro Cosmos" is face-up in my opponent's Spell & Trap Zone, and its effect that banishes any card that would be sent to the GY is applying. In this situation, can I activate the effect of "Cubic Dharma" that sends a "Cubic" card from my hand to the GY and draws a card?
- A: The effect of "Cubic Dharma" can be activated even if the effect of "Macro Cosmos" is applying. In that case, the "Cubic" card that would be sent from your hand to the GY is banished instead, and you cannot draw a card.[2][3]
