Card Rulings:Nekroz Mirror
OCG Rulings
- Because the "You can only use this effect of "Nekroz Mirror" once per turn.", if the activation of "Nekroz Mirror" is negated by "Solemn Judgment", you cannot activate another "Nekroz Mirror" during the same turn.[1]
- "Tribute monsters from your hand or field, and/or banish "Nekroz" monsters from your Graveyard" and "Ritual Summon 1 "Nekroz" Ritual Monster from your hand whose Level exactly equals the total Levels of those monsters." are not considered to happen simultaneously.[1]
- When resolving this card, you choose either "Tribute monsters from your hand or field" and/or "banish "Nekroz" monsters from your Graveyard". (You can combine both methods.)[1]
- The "If you control no monsters: You can banish this card and 1 "Nekroz" monster from your Graveyard; add 1 "Nekroz" Spell Card from your Deck to your hand." effect is activated from the Graveyard and it starts a Chain Link. It does not target. Banishing this card and 1 "Nekroz" monster from your Graveyard is a cost to activate this effect.)[1]
- While "Imperial Iron Wall" is active, you cannot banish monsters, but if you can Ritual Summon by Tributing monsters from your hand or field, you can activate "Nekroz Mirror".[2]
- "Nekroz Mirror" does not target. Therefore, if you have "Shurit, Strategist of the Nekroz" in your Graveyard when "Nekroz Mirror" is activated, but when the card resolves "Shurit, Strategist of the Nekroz" was banished by the effect of "D.D. Crow", if you can Ritual Summon by Tributing monsters from your hand or field, then you must Tribute monsters from your hand or field to perform that Ritual Summon.[3]
- If you Ritual Summon "Nekroz of Decisive Armor", you can banish 1 "Nekroz of Clausolas" (Level 3) from your Graveyard and Tribute 1 "Nekroz of Brionac" (Level 6) from your hand and 1 "Treeborn Frog" (Level 1) you control.[4]
- If you Ritual Summon using "Nekroz Mirror", you can Tribute monsters other than "Nekroz" monsters, but you can only banish "Nekroz" monsters from your Graveyard.[5]
- While "Mask of Restrict" is active, you cannot Tribute monsters, but if you can Ritual Summon by banishing "Nekroz" monsters from the Graveyard, you can activate "Nekroz Mirror".[6]
- You can only banish "Nekroz" monsters from the Graveyard using the effect of "Nekroz Mirror". However, "Djinn Demolisher of Rituals" can be banished from the Graveyard as a Level 3 monster using its own effect. Therefore, you can activate "Nekroz Mirror" and banish a Level 6 "Nekroz of Brionac" and a Level 3 "Djinn Demolisher of Rituals" from your graveyard to Ritual Summon a "Nekroz of Trishula" from your hand.[7]
