OCG Rulings
- Placing a Greed Counter on this card does not start a Chain Link.[1]
- Sending this card with two or more Greed Counters on it to the Graveyard is an activation cost for its effect.[1]
- You can only activate the "draw 2 cards" effect during your own turn's Main Phase.[1]
- If "Shard of Greed" has two Greed Counters on it, then you can activate its effect only during your turn's Main Phase. This starts a Chain Link.[2]
