Q&A Rulings
- Q: A "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" has applied its effect, and its own ATK and the ATK of the targeted monster have changed. In this situation, if "Infinite Impermanence" is activated targeting that "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon", and its effects are negated, what happens to the ATK of "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" and the ATK of the opponent's monster targeted by its effect?
- A: Neither monster's ATK is reverted to its previous value (it remains changed by the effect). If a monster effect increases or decreases ATK/DEF, and that effect can be applied to a monster other than itself, the effect will still apply when the monster's effects are negated after resolving. The first effect of "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" is such an effect.
