- With A Legendary Ocean Face-up on the Field, WATER monsters which are Level 4 are reduced it's Level by 1, and can be protected with this card.
- Another option are Cloudian monsters, which are protected from battle even without help and now are immune to destruction by card effects too.
- Use this card when you need Tribute Fodder for Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth to prevent your monsters being destroyed during your opponent's Turn, in other ways when you didn't get Big Wave Small Wave.
- When you activate the effect of Levia-Dragon - Daedalus, Torrential Tribute, or any cards which can destroy a number of monsters on your side, you Chain with this card and prevent Level-3 or lower WATER-Type monsters being destroyed.
- This card works very well in a Frog Deck.
- Use DNA Transplant to make all of your monsters WATER attribute.
- This card can work with "The Six Samurai - Yaichi", as it is a Level 3 WATER-Attribute monster. This card can be used to protect a targeted "The Six Samurai - Yaichi" to protect other Six Samurai mo
