- This card can be searched by "Serpentine Princess", "Flamvell Poun", "Vampire Dragon", "Oshaleon", "Rai-Mei", "Shining Angel", "Damage = Reptile", "Where Arf Thou?", "One for One", "Snake Whistle", "Flying Saucer Muusik'i" and "Photon Veil".
- This card is designed to Synchro Summon "Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar", but it is not restricted to just that specific Synchro Monster:
- By reviving either "Alien Mars" or "Alien Dog", you can Synchro Summon "Armory Arm".
- By reviving "Alien Grey" while you have access to a Level 4 Monster Card, you can Synchro Summon "Ancient Sacred Wyvern", or any generic Level 7 Synchro Monster, such as "X-Saber Urbellum".
- By reviving any Level 4 "Alien" monster, you can Synchro Summon "Ally of Justice Catastor" or "Magical Android".
- By reviving another Ammonite, you can Synchro Summon two Level 8 Synchro Monsters with "Gorz the Emissary of Darkness" and its token.
- After you Normal Summon this card and revive an "Alien" Monster, you can return this card to your hand in order to Special Summon a "Genex Ally Birdman" from your hand, and then Synchro Summon higher level Synchro Monsters, such as "Genex Ally Triforce". Then, you can Normal Summon this card again next turn.
- "Foolish Burial", "Snake Rain" and "Mysterious Triangle" can quickly send other "Alien" monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard, where they can be revived by this card. You can also send "Alien Hypno" in particular to the Graveyard via "Featherizer" or "Future Fusion".
- After Synchro Summoning Gol'gar, this card can be returned to your hand by the effect of "Beckoning Light", allowing you to summon another Gol'gar next turn.
