  • This card works well with "DNA Transplant". Once all monsters on the field are a single Attribute (other than DARK), no monster can destroy Catastor by battle.
  • This card is an excellent way to prevent the opponent from using "Honest", since the opponent's monster is destroyed before damage calculation.
  • If this is the only monster you have on your side of the field and your opponent doesn't have any high-attack DARK monsters, you can use "Battle Mania" to force your opponent to clear their field (unless they use a card that allows them to remove "Ally of Justice Catastor" from your side of the field).
  • If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can easily synchro summon this card with "T.G. Striker" and "T.G. Warwolf" without performing a Normal Summon.
  • This card is ideal for destroying Wind-Up Zenmaines, as it will have to waste both of its Overlay Units to resist Catastor's effect and attack, leaving it vulnerable to destruction.
