Card Tips:Ally of Justice Catastor
- This is a good "problem-solver" card that is relatively easy to summon.
- This card works well with "DNA Transplant". Once all monsters on the field are a single Attribute (other than DARK), no monster can destroy Catastor by battle.
- This card's effect can be countered with "Stardust Dragon" or an equipped "Power Tool Dragon".
- Use Staunch Defender so you can destroy all of the opponent's non-Dark Monsters.
- "Junk Synchron" can easily summon this monster. So can Deep Sea Diva.
- Since face-down cards are immune to its effect, use a card like "Light of Intervention" or "Swords of Revealing Light" to prevent your opponent from exploiting this weakness.
- Equip this card with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" to easily destroy two monsters your opponent controls.
- This card is an excellent way to prevent the opponent from using "Honest", since the opponent's monster is destroyed before damage calculation.
- When using this card, beware of high-ATK DARK monsters, such as Cosmo Queen or Summoned Skull, and Caius the Shadow Monarch.
- This card is very easy to summon using "Alien Ammonite" to special summon a level 4 "Alien" monster from your graveyard, then tuning for "Ally of Justice Catastor" instead of "Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar".
- You can use "Sinister Sprocket" to Synchro Summon this monster with any level 4 monster and destroy a face-up spell or trap card.
- If you are running this in a "Blackwing" deck, the easiest way to Synchro Summon this card is to Normal Summon "Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame", attack and destroy a monster and use it's effect to Special Summon "Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor", and then tune for "Ally of Justice Catastor", since Vayu's effect would be negated. You can also summon "Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North" and special summon "Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow".
- If this is the only monster you have on your side of the field and your opponent doesn't have any high-attack DARK Attribute monsters, you can use "Battle Mania" to force your opponent to clear their field (unless they use a card that allows them to remove "Ally of Justice Catastor" from your side of the field)
