- This card can be searched by "Dark Sage", "Ancient Gear Drill", "Alchemic Magician", "Angmarl the Fiendish Monarch", "Left Arm Offering", "Spell Calling", "Quick Booster" and "Mecha Phantom Beast Jaculuslan".
- This card gives "Dark Magician" decks a way of dealing with monsters that cannot be targeted by opposing effects (such as "Kozmo" monsters or "Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon") or with monsters that would otherwise avoid targeting effects that banish, such as "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon", "ABC-Dragon Buster", "A-to-Z-Dragon Buster Cannon", etc. since any of the monsters Summoned in their place would be banished by this card anyway.
- However, it does require "Dark Magician of Chaos"/"Magician of Black Chaos"/"Dark Sage"/"Sorcerer of Dark Magic" to activate, since all other "Dark Magician"-related monsters are Level 7 or below.
