"Chicken Game":

  • This card can potentially be useful in a "D/D" Deck during its user's Standby Phase, preventing damage being taken from "Dark Contract" cards, but only if their LP is lower than their opponent's and assuming it isn't destroyed during the opponent's turn.
  • This card works well in Decks that use a different Field Spell Card (alongside cards that can search for Field Spells, such as "Metaverse" and "Terraforming"), specifically in scenarios where that different Field Spell is already in the hand alongside one of the searching cards (e.g. "Metaverse", "Terraforming"); the 'useless' searching card can be used to add "Chicken Game" to the hand, so that it can be activated first to draw a card, before replacing it with the other Field Spell Card - preventing the opponent from using the effect of "Chicken Game".
