- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Flying Kamakiri #1, and "Masked Dragon".
- This card works great within a "Cyberdark" Deck for performing Synchro Summons. Normal Summon "Cyberdark Horn", "Cyberdark Edge" or "Cyberdark Keel", equip this card, unequip it, and use the "Cyberdark" and "Dragunity Phalanx" to Synchro Summon any Level 6 Synchro Monster.
- This card can be equipped with "Relinquished" if your opponent took control of it. Because, you know, they're just going to take control of it then end their turn for you to take advantage of with your Relinquished-Phalanx deck. Of course, this is only after you left it on your field and ended your turn. Then you can unequip it and use it for a Synchro Summon. But not with that level 1 Relinquished on your field. Something else.
- Combine with "Hysteric Party" to Synchro Summon various "Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana" for every Level 4 "Harpie Lady" Special Summoned this way.
- This helps add monsters to your Graveyard to activate "Pot of Avarice" much easier.
- This card works great with "Dragunity Dux". Normal Summon "Dux" and fetch this card from the Graveyard, then you can use the effect of "Phalanx" to Special Summon itself for an instant "Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana". When "Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana" is Synchro summoned, equip a "Dragunity Phalanx" to it, making an instant Level 8 Synchro.
- Equip this card to "Dragunity Arma Leyvaten" when it's summoned, Special Summon it for its effect, and you have a total of Level 10 for an easy "Trident Dragion".
- Note that this card must be equipped by another card's effect. It cannot simply equip itself from the hand or Graveyard to a monster you control like "Inzektor Gigamantis".
