- "Number C101: Silent Honors Dark Knight" is perfect for Summoning this card, because it can turn your opponent's monsters into Xyz Materials for itself, giving this card a higher ATK boost when Summoned on top of Dark Knight.
- Although this strategy does maximize this cards attack power, its not recommended due to the extra material that is required to summon it.
- Use "Number 19: Freezadon" as a generic option for Level 5 non-WATER monsters to Xyz Summon into, then Xyz Summon this card.
- "Dimensional Prison", "Compulsory Evacuation Device", and "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast" are common deck staples that can easily rid the field of this monster.
