- Use with monsters that gain ATK/DEF while you have more cards in your hand, such as "Tragoedia" , "Muka Muka", "Enraged Muka Muka", or "Slifer the Sky Dragon". You can also use with "Full Salvo" for heavy damage in the right situation.
- Use with "Ordeal of a Traveler" to decrease the chances of your opponent selecting the right type of card from your hand. Just make sure you have a variety of card types in your hand.
- Prevent your opponent from benefiting from this card with "Enervating Mist".
- You can use this to counter your opponent's "Dark World Grimoire".
Traditional Format
- Allow your opponent to draw lots of cards with this card's effect, then use the effect of "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End" for heavy damage. This also theoretically works if you are the one who has a lot of cards in your hand.
- This card works very well with card effects that let you add many cards to your hand during the End Phase, such as "Spellbook of Judgment" and "Super Rejuvenation", as you will not have to discard any of those cards if there are a lot of them.
