- In a Deck focused on gathering and keeping many cards in the hand, this card's effect is most useful during the opponent's turn (as any cards you draw during your turn are kept until the end of your turn).
- Use to assist monsters that gain ATK/DEF based on the number of cards in your hand (such as "Tragoedia", "Muka Muka", "Enraged Muka Muka", or "Slifer the Sky Dragon"), to keep the monster at high ATK/DEF during the opponent's turn.
- Similarly, this can assist "Ordeal of a Traveler" (whose effect is only active during the opponent's turn), as long as you have a variety of card types in your hand.
- Prevent your opponent from benefiting from this card with "Enervating Mist".
- You can use this to counter your opponent's "Dark World Grimoire".
Traditional Format
- This card can assist "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End" in dealing heavy damage.
- This card works extremely well with card effects that let you add many cards to your hand but only during your End Phase, such as "Spellbook of Judgment" and "Super Rejuvenation", as you will not have to discard any of those cards if there are a lot of them.
