- Use "Magic Reflector" to prolong the life of cards essential to certain deck types, like "Toon World" in a Toon Deck, "Mokey Mokey Smackdown" in a "Mokey Mokey" Deck and "Neo Space" in a Neo-Spacian Deck.
- You can use "Magic Reflector" to protect cards like "Wave-Motion Cannon", so it is insured to last longer and deal more damage, or "Field Barrier" to make your Field Spells practically indestructible.
- Works best for decks that depend on certain Field Spells as their life line. e.g. "Pandemonium", "A Legendary Ocean", "Fusion Gate", etc.
- You can use this in a deck that relies on "Dimensional Fissure".
- You can use this card to protect your "Clock Tower Prison" in a "Destiny Hero" deck to to ensure enough counters accumulate to summon "Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster" or prolong the effect of not taking any battle damage.
- This card works well in an "Earthbound Immortal" deck to protect Field Spell Cards from being destroyed.
- Use with "Magical Citadel of Endymion" to furter protect it from being destroyed and gain a Spell Counter.
- If your opponent uses this card on a key Spell card in their deck, you can counter with cards that remove but not destroy Spells, like "Giant Trunade".
- Use this card to protect Future Fusion in a Worm deck.
