- This card is somewhat useful in a Toon Deck, if you plan on using cards like "Toon Masked Sorcerer", "Toon Gemini Elf" and "Toon Dark Magician Girl".
- Combo with "Inferno Reckless Summon".
- Use this card in any "Gravekeeper's" Deck, especially since all "Gravekeeper's" are Spellcaster-Types with less than or equal to 2000 ATK.
- You can use this card to search out Tuners such as "Night's End Sorcerer" and Synchro Summon with "Urgent Tuning" or during your Main Phase 2. (This also works well when you Synchro Summon "Arcanite Magician" and then use "Assault Mode Activate" bringing out "Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode".)
- If your opponent uses the effect and Special Summons a monster, combo with "Bottomless Trap Hole" if it has 1500 or more ATK.
- If you control a "Magician's Valkyria" when you activate this card, assuming it is your turn, you can Special Summon another copy of "Valkyria" to form an attack lockdown.
- Use this card if you know the only Spellcaster-Type monster your opponent runs is "Effect Veiler". Not only will you pull "Veiler" out of your opponent's Deck where its effect can't be used, but your opponent will have a 0 ATK monster in Attack Position to deal good battle damage with.
- If your opponent uses an "Exodia" Deck without "Royal Magical Library" or another Spellcaster-Type monster that isn't a "Forbidden One" monster, this card can be a good counter.
Traditional Format
- Use this card to flush out "Magician of Faith" from your opponent's non-Spellcaster Deck.
