Card Tips:The Great Double Casted Caster
- With regards to this card's Fusion Materials, the non-Effect Monsters with the highest ATK consist of Fusion Monsters such as "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" (4500 ATK), "Master of Oz" (4200 ATK), and "Meteor Black Dragon" (3500 ATK).
- The easiest way of using these monsters as Fusion Material is by sending them directly from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard, where they can be banished for a Fusion Summon via "Magicalized Fusion" or "Necro Fusion", such as by the following generic card effects:
- "Extra-Foolish Burial" can send 1 Extra Deck monster to the Graveyard at the cost of half the player's LP and not being able to Set cards that turn.
- The effect of "Gale Dogra" can send 1 Extra Deck monster to the Graveyard at the cost of 3000 LP each time its effect is activated. So essentially, this effect can be activated up to twice in the same turn, immediately setting up for a Fusion Summon.
- By controlling a Link Monster, "Tri-Brigade Roar" can be activated to send "Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II" from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard, whose effect can then send the Beast-Type non-Effect Fusion Monster "Master of Oz" (4200 ATK) from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard.
- "Ultimate Slayer" can send 1 Extra Deck monster to the Graveyard to send a corresponding monster the opponent controls to the Graveyard. The non-effect Extra Deck monster options with the highest ATK are "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" for Fusion Monsters (4500 ATK), "Naturia Leodrake" for Synchro Monsters (3000 ATK), "Gagagigo the Risen" for Xyz Monsters (2950 ATK), and "Berserker of the Tenyi" for Link Monsters (3000 ATK).
- "Gem-Knight Pearl" is an alternate pick for the Xyz option, as not only is it a non-Effect monster, but is also easier to Xyz Summon in a pinch (only requiring two Level 4 monsters) with a decent 2600 ATK.
- The effect of "Pinpoint Dash" will either send a monster from its user's Extra Deck to the Graveyard, or directly Special Summon it. However, if the opponent reveals an Extra Deck monster of a different type, they will be able to Special Summon their monster.
- Various "Dogmatika" cards have effects that can send cards from the Extra Deck to the GY, but activating these effects usually have significant drawbacks/requirements, such as preventing Special Summons from the Extra Deck for the entire turn or Ritual Summoning a monster with said effect.
- Although it is possible to use the effect of "Fists of the Unrivaled Tenyi" or "Waking the Dragon" to directly Special Summon any monster from the Extra Deck, each requires the opponent to use a card effect to remove it from the field and trigger its effect.
- The easiest way of using these monsters as Fusion Material is by sending them directly from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard, where they can be banished for a Fusion Summon via "Magicalized Fusion" or "Necro Fusion", such as by the following generic card effects:
- The 4500 ATK "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" can be easily Special Summoned from the Extra Deck with "Fusion Armament" (by revealing "Dragon Master Knight" in the Extra Deck to do so).
- "Ready Fusion" can Summon a Level 6 or lower non-Effect Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck, with "Metalfoes Adamante" (2500 ATK) currently possessing the highest ATK of them all.
- "The Masked Beast" (3200 ATK) and "Black Luster Soldier" (3000 ATK) are high ATK non-Effect Ritual Monsters that can be easily added to the hand via card effects such as "Herald of the Arc Light", "Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands", and "Pre-Preparation of Rites".
- If this card is Summoned with at least 4000 ATK, attacking twice via the effect of ""Infernoble Arms - Hauteclere"" can easily end the Duel. With this in mind, certain non-Effect Link Monsters can be used, since they are easy to Link Summon.
- "LANphorhynchus" (1200 ATK) and "Berserker of the Tenyi" (3000 ATK) can easily be Link Summoned in most Decks, for a total of 4200 ATK.
- In a "Tenyi" Deck, "Monk of the Tenyi" (1000 ATK) and "Berserker of the Tenyi" (3000 ATK) can be easily Link Summoned for a total of 4000 ATK. Additionally, if "Shaman of the Tenyi" uses its effect in the process, this card can still attack directly the same turn since this card's relevant effects are Continuous (they do not activate).
- If Link Monsters are being used this way, "Guardragon Reincarnation" can be used to Fusion Summon this card. While having the advantage of banishing monsters from the player's field and Graveyard as Fusion Material (albeit Link Monsters only), the Spell is also Quick-Play, allowing it to be used during the Battle Phase after other monsters have attacked first.
