- This card was specifically designed for use with Structure Deck 13: Revival of the Great Dragon in the OCG, and Structure Deck: Rise of the Dragon Lords in the TCG. As such, it can be used with the following cards present in that Deck:
- This card works well in a Reactor deck by discarding "Flying Fortress SKY FIRE" to draw 2 cards. This works well because "Flying Fortress SKY FIRE" can be special summoned by "Summon Reactor・SK" from the graveyard.
- This card can be used with "Dragunity Arma Leyvaten", you draw two cards, and can still use Levaten's effect to revive itself from the graveyard.
- This card works well if you discard a Dragon-Type monster for "Cyberdark Dragon".
- Discard any Level 8 Nomi monster (such as "Silent Magician LV8" or "Mirage Knight"), and then return it to the Deck with "The Transmigration Prophecy".
- Because you draw cards by activating this card you can play "Solemn Wishes" to gain Life Points as well.
- Use "Summoner's Art" to get any level 8 Normal Monster and discard it for 2 more cards.
- You can then follow this up with cards like "Swing of Memories", "Call of the Haunted", or "Birthright".
- A good deck thinning strategy is to use "Toon Table of Contents" 2 times to draw all copies of it out of your deck, use the last one to add "Blue Eyes Toon Dragon" to your hand, and then use Trade-In to discard it and draw 2 more cards.
- Return a Level 8 Dragon-Type monster to hand with "A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon", then discard it as a cost for "Trade-In".
- Use this card to put "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" in the Graveyard to be Summoned later.
- "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" makes a perfect target with this card.
- "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" can be searched from Deck easily using "The White Stone of Legend", use "Cards of Consonance" to discard the White Stone and get three cards (two from "Cards of Consonance", one is the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" that is added via White Stone's effect), then use "Trade-In" to discard the previously-added "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and draw another two, resulting of total 5 cards drawn.
- In fact, this combo leads to the fastest deck among "Disaster Dragon" deck variants, known as "Egg Turbo".
- This card can add some draw power in Gishki decks, simply by discarding "Evigishki Soul Ogre" or "Evigishki Levianima", which can be added back to your hand via "Gishki Aquamirror", effectively making this card's cost nullified.
- Decks centered around Darklords can also abuse this card efficiently, by discarding "Darklord Zerato" or "Darklord Superbia" (both are Level 8). This works well in conjunction with "Athena", as Athena can revive Superbia to start their swarming process.
